Ongoing development and support are an option. They are never a requirement.
You own the code we wrote for you. Open-source and third-party parts stay under their own licenses. We keep the general tools and know-how we bring to every job.
You can take that code and leave us out of the picture. We hope you don't.
Bugs in what we delivered, fixed free for 3 months from delivery. The warranty covers code as we delivered it. If you or anyone else changes it, the warranty no longer covers the changed parts.
You pay us to keep it working as the world changes. OS updates, third-party APIs, and new hardware are paid support, not warranty.
